A smashing time…
A regular fleet customer got in touch when their Ford Transit Mk8 Tipper was brutally attacked at it’s weakest point, the windows.
While left with us for the day, we:
- Removed the remains of the smashed window, and designed, manufactured and fitted a set of 2mm thick Stainless Steel Window blanks to guard against future attacks.
- Designed, manufactured and fitted a plate to the drivers door to repair and reinforce the area.
Determined thieves…
This Ford Transit Connect had only 2 deadlocks fitted, and was left parked in a quiet location where thieves could act undisturbed. Having time and discretion on their side, they decided to attack the deadlocks on this van.
We removed the remains of the existing locks, and fitted our in-house designed door reinforcement to strengthen and re-align the weakened area, not only covering the damage but also increasing the security for the future.
Thieves didn’t get in, but they left a mess…
To avoid a new door, this customer asked us to design a shield to cover the damage, and replace the driver’s door lock and get everything working again as it should.
From design, to manufacture and fitting, the work was completed in under 4 hours; getting the van back on the road in half a day, therefore minimising downtime and expense to the owner.
